"More harm is done by fools through foolishness
than is done by evildoers through wickedness.".
HIS HOLINESS HAZRAT KHWAJA SYED NIZAMUDDIN AULIA
Mehboob-e-Elahi; Sultan–ul-Mashaikh (R.A)
(1238 A.D. to 1325 A.D.)

10 (a) MUNAJATH (Dua) in the Darbar of His Holiness Mehboob-e-Elahi; Sultan-ul-Mashaikh (R.A)

Following are the Munajath (Dua) recited:

  1. "Turn your heart to the Lord humbling yourself and pleading for help so that He, of His bountiful generousity might be pleased with you on the Day of Resurrection…" (Quran).
  2. "Oh Generous One, who, out of your hidden treasure gives sustenance to Zorastrians and Christians, how could you possibly disappoint Your friends, You a King, with eyes even for me."
  3. "Oh, Mehboob of the universe, the chronicles of the event aired to us, when once in your life time the flames of fire wrapped the houses and huts in the peak summer of the people, the wrath of the fire led. No one secure, the roofs and walls were totally wrecked and left the people homeless, foodless, moneyless, tossing their fate in destiny. But you Oh! beloved, Khwaja (His Holiness) never left them alone, resting nakedly, begging and living hand to mouth. Barefootedly he came out, seeing them perturbed and uncertain mournful beneath the sky, the Lord of the Mercy sent! His hidden forces to your help, though very obviously your Service men (khadims, murids) were instrumental, but the real force was there, wearing the green turbans pumping the water from the clouds, then only the fire was put off and you the master stepped down. It was your generousity that you bestowed upon them with food in an earthern pot, water and sufficient money of four Tankas (currency of the time)."
  4. "Oh, benevolent Khwaja we the homeless, penniless, destitutes driven from our home lands, plundered and looted by the cruels, beaten by the drums of destiny, isolated from our kith and kins, robbed of youth, virginity and beauty we have come to you at your court, and whatever we have with us we are offering to you and conveying our humble supplications to the Master of both the Worlds, Allah the Majestic Lord, to bestow upon us His graces and protect us to sustain our youth, virginity and respect in the world and again revitalize our hopes and life for the restoration of peace in our motherland."

Let our last breath be dutiful to Allah and our Darood and salute to our beloved Prophet (SAW) - We need his blessings!
